ClickGolf is a leading UK eCommerce retailer of golf equipment and accessories. The business has been trading for 24 years and prides itself on offering a specialist range of top quality golfing products.
As with many established eCommerce sites, ClickGolf was badly hit by a number of Google’s algorithms, leading to a downward trend in traffic and sales.
Following a number of months of decreasing traffic coming in through search, the team approached us to help them with their SEO and increase their organic traffic numbers.
Our first step was to identify the reasons as to why the traffic was declining. Combing through a mountain of data, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console we were able to understand the impact of the drop and identify the possible causes of it also. Over the coming months, we completed a range of site audits and technical analysis which highlighted a host of issues that needed to be addressed.
